Detailed description of study
To test the hypothesis that dysfunctional endogenous pain modulation (central sensitization, endogenous pain inhibition) and increased pain sensitivity via quantitative sensory tests will be associated with increased risk for development of BFNP.
To test the hypothesis that peripheral blood immune cells can serve as biomarkers for BFNP.
