Brief description of study

The goal of this study is to learn more about experiences with healthcare and attitudes toward telehealth. 
 

Detailed description of study

Participation involves one 90-minute interview that will take place over the phone at a time that is convenient for you. During the interview, you will be asked about topics like your experience with accessing healthcare for yourself and your family as well as your thoughts about remote healthcare delivery. This study is designed to understand the attitudes, beliefs, experiences, and decision making processes that may influence the utilization of a telehealth assessment for autism risk.
Participants will be paid for their participation.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: autism,autistic,child,children,women,mother,mothers,healthcare,telehealth,Angelman syndrome,Down syndrome,Fragile X syndrome,Williams syndrome,Prader-Willi syndrome
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: Female

 
Eligibility Criteria:
 
You may be eligible if you are a:
 
Mother living in Indiana 
 
Mother of a child who has been diagnosed with any of the following genetic syndromes: Angelman syndrome, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Williams syndrome, or Prader-Willi syndrome
 
Mother who identifies as autistic
 
Autistic woman who is trying to conceive or thinking about trying to conceive
